我不能确定是不是所有看到Feist名字的人都认识她，但是我可以确定的是，看过莎朗史东给Dior拍的广告的人都会记得那个优柔的背景音乐。对，那首《Gatekeeper》正是Feist06年唱片《Let It Be》中的一首。
Feist本名Leslie Feist，高中时期组织过一个庞克乐团Placebo，因为参加比赛获胜，而获得他们的偶像庞克摇滚团The Ramones邀约，成为加拿大巡演的暖场团。正当她音乐之途即将展开之时，她却因用嗓过度无法继续演唱，再经理了半年的修养治疗后，Feist独自在地下室用吉他代替歌声，从而摸索出Feist独特的简约清新民谣流行乐
